New Show: Thunder Throwback
Written by The Wolf Australia on 5 August, 2019
We’re exciting to bring you a new program to our music mix here on The Wolf!
On Sunday morning’s we’ve been running a special mix of music, playing a lot more of our back- catalog of our music library or ‘Archives’ as we’ve called them. Its our chance to throw it back to the songs that new fans might have missed and reminisce about a time when a song was new. Where were you when Thomas Rhett dropped ‘Crash & Burn’ ?
Whilst we love gettin’ day drunk to Morgan Evans’ new US releases, we need to remember when he launched onto the Aussie scene like a tornado!
Nothing wrong with being a little punny!
This music mix isn’t new, we’ve been doing an almost identical algorithm overnight (‘Moonlight Howls’) but hey – we’re not all late night truck drivers! So we’ve decided to give you one entire hour of nothing but tracks from the archives. We’ve called it the Thunder Throwback Hour!
We’re coming in with a boom! All songs that paved the way for, inspired and launched the careers of artists today. Whilst we love gettin’ day drunk to Morgan Evans’ new US releases, we need to remember when he launched onto the Aussie scene like a tornado!
Where were you when Thomas Rhett dropped ‘Crash & Burn’ ?
Thunder Throwback Hour, Weekdays 12pm Sydney/Melbourne Time
You’ll hear the best from the likes of Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and more! It’s the songs that got you into country, that pushed the crossover boundary and made country music more appealing to the greater music audience.
