Are you an aspiring journalist, digital content producer or looking to get a start in media or the music industry? Do you have a passion for modern country music?
The Wolf Australia is looking to add online contributors to our team. We will provide you with coaching on digital content techniques and assist you in working towards your career goals. You will be given the chance to write and report on country music and regional living related news and trends for The Wolf Australia’s website.
As with all existing team members, this is a volunteer opportunity. That being said, this opportunity can be rewarding beyond simply gaining experience. This opportunity is ideal for those who are,
- Studying journalism
- Studying digital content & publishing
- Studying media and/or radio
- Volunteers in community radio
- Interested in pursuing any of the above
Opportunity To Learn & Grow
This opportunity can be your start in the industry, a chance to practice what you are learning and gain recognition and experience.
Commercial radio announcer, MJ from 93.5 Eagle FM (Capital Radio Network), begun his media career as a volunteer writer for The Sporting Journal and automotive news site GM Authority. He then launched Planet Country radio show with Big Stu before pursuing a career in radio professionally.
Speaking on his volunteer journalism experience, MJ says:
Writing for TSJ and GMA provided me with a portfolio of work and valuable experience on my resume even though I was fresh out of high school and before I had a chance to study at AFTRS
As an article writer you’ll be given your own team member profile and author credit so you can build up recognition in the industry and with The Wolf Australia listeners.
